For internal communication and collaboration, Gimv, the Flemish Regional Investment Company, needed a new intranet.
Approach/Outcome
The functionalities offered by SharePoint as a platform already formed a good basis for the intranet, with as much use as possible of standard functionalities. SharePoint is used as a Content Management System (CMS) to provide communication to employees across various departments and locations. The search functionality of SharePoint is used to set up a specific Search Center. Managing investments is done based on out-of-the-box Document Management functionalities.
